II. Demos by Dalai Lama/USSPE

This guy was a MAJOR asshole. It seems like all he did was rag on people, play phone pranks, and act like an elitist prick. I guess he had some warez connects, though I never did see him flowing warez into the local scene like some other notable sceners (Robin Hood/THW, for instance). Dalai Lama (Phil) and his sidekick Wally Bignut (Ed Fromeyer) just seemed to have nothing but a negative impact on the local scene. Early on, they became known by locals for calling local sysops and pretending to be associated with ESI. They'd convince them to go out and buy Rush CDs or something and tell them they were going to be a local ESI affiliate. Later, they ran a board of their own, which while it was ultra-private, still didn't have anything really interesting to offer. I've often suspected that those two really were just in the scene for the sole purpose of harassing people anonymously.

Anyway, I'm missing a rag demo that Phil wrote against me in 1990 or so, it has the music from Terminal City and a 2x1 scroller in it. If you have it, please send it so it can be added here.

Title: Eat Me Raw
Date: Undetermined
Group: UCF
Author: Dalai Lama
Synopsis: Actually one of the best rag-demos of all time IMHO. As much as I've always hated Phil, I have to admit that this is a real nuclear-bomb of a wardemo.
